Circle Health, Reading

PSP are proud to have contributed to the ambitious plan to create a legacy of super-efficient, high-performance low-carbon hospital facilities throughout the UK. Circle Health Reading is a new state-of-the-art facility offering elective surgery through GP referral to both private and NHS patients.
Working as part of a synergetic collaboration between project teams from Bryden Wood and Circle Health/Health Properties Management Ltd (HPML), PSP Architectural was chosen to fabricate and deliver the flat panels and ACM rainscreen cladding for Circle Health Reading, utilising innovative manufacturing methods to deliver a precision-engineered external rainscreen solution.
The A2 fire-rated ACM panels were created by our experienced team, using state-of-the-art fabrication equipment in our advanced factory facilities, before being transported to the site for installation. PSP worked with the client at each stage to achieve the bespoke solution, taking into account both the practical requirements and design ambitions of the project.
Utilising A2 rated Etalbond 4mm composite aluminium with a RAL 317 Sparking Black provides a unique and striking finish to complement the sleek, modern design both inside and around the building. Aluminium facades offer adaptability and design flexibility to achieve a striking architectural finish.
“We are thoroughly pleased with the results of this project, which has been achieved through the effective planning and communication between PSP and Delineate Design Limited. Our collaborative approach to the design and ‘flat-pack’ manufacturing process, together with just-in-time deliveries has resulted in a truly striking building which met all client expectations.”
