To top off our year of amazing charitable achievements at PSP Group, Megan Hindmarch, our Business Development Manager, has selflessly contributed by donating 12 inches of her hair to The Little Princess Trust. This remarkable organisation provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young individuals grappling with hair loss due to cancer treatments and other medical conditions.
Amidst the awful challenges faced by young people undergoing cancer treatments, the loss of hair adds an additional layer of difficulty. Recognising this, Megan not only underwent a hair transformation but is also on a fundraising mission to cover the £700 cost associated with creating, fitting, and styling a wig.
Megan shared, “After a challenging year marked by the loss of my Grandpa to Lung Cancer and the resilience of my beautiful Godmother who survived Breast Cancer, I felt compelled to do something. By donating my hair, I hope to bring a measure of comfort to those facing the awful struggles that Cancer brings.”
The Little Princess Trust not only provides tangible support through wigs but is also a major contributor to childhood cancer research in the UK. The charity relies on the generosity of its supporters to provide both Hair and Hope to countless children and young people each year.
