PSP plays in football tournament to raise money for a local charity!

We were delighted to be asked by GEM Partnership to join their charity football tournament on Friday 2nd August. GEM Partnership is a leading provider of recruitment and training solutions, also based in the Northeast.

Each year, GEM Partnership organises a charity event to raise money for different causes. This year they chose The Hub of Wishes a Newton Aycliffe-based charity. The Hub of Wishes offers a friendly and confidential service for those experiencing emotional distress, difficult times, and mental health issues. They support individuals coming out of hospital, help prevent re-admission, and aid in re-adjustment and re-integration into the community.

At PSP, we have always loved getting involved with different charities throughout our 25 years of trading. When GEM Partnership invited us, we were eager to participate! The event organised to raise money was a football tournament. Being passionate about charities and enthusiastic about football, we put together a team of 11 great players who were ready to proudly represent PSP Group!

Our team consisted of: Lewis, Tim, Ethan, Rob, Matt, Aidan, Andrew, Jack, Lee, Matthew and Ashton

We were thrilled to secure 3rd place overall. Our team played exceptionally well together, demonstrating that our teamwork is just as strong on the pitch as it is in the office!

We would like to thank GEM Partnership for inviting us to participate and for organising such a great event. So far, £2,015 has been raised, surpassing the £1,500 target, which is amazing.

Ashton Gale Production Supervisor who played said: “It was such a brilliant event and great to have been involved in helping raise money for such an amazing cause that does fantastic work in the local area. Well done to everyone who played and helped make the day so special, and to GEM Partnership for organising the event. I am really proud of our team for coming third overall – well done!”
